Onteora had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-49 W against the Pine Plains Bombers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Onteora pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Pine Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Coming up, Onteora will venture away from home to take on Wallkill at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
