Basketball Recap: Nottingham Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Nottingham Northstars beat the New Egypt Warriors 55-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Northstars.

Nottingham's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for New Egypt, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Nottingham will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Point Pleasant Boro on Friday. Point Pleasant Boro will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Nottingham surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Egypt, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Steinert on Friday. New Egypt is facing Steinert at the right time seeing as Steinert is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
