The Family Christian Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 45-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Melbourne Christian Academy. Family Christian Academy has struggled against the recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

West Melbourne Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Kyire Biggs, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmanuel Michel, who scored nine points.

Family Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for West Melbourne Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
