Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday JB Davis stepped things up a notch to give East Surry the 'W'. Davis threw for 117 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 6-for-6 passing. The performance also marked the most passer rating (177.1) he has had since back in November of 2024.

Davis and East Surry will challenge North Surry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis will face off against Cade Atkins, the Greyhounds' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
