Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jayden Zandier stepped things up a notch to give Exeter Township the 'W'. Zandier was unstoppable, rushing for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 16 yards and a touchdown.

Exeter Township pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Zandier's next matchup is against South Western on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Caleb Grant Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Ephrata got the W thanks in part to Caleb Grant playing the best football he has all season. Grant threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown. Ephrata is 4-1 when Grant posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Conestoga Valley picked up their tenth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sawyer Esbenshade. Nobody could stop Esbenshade as he threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes.

On the season, Esbenshade has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 184.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after ten games last season, he was only averaging 3.96 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 121.21 passer rating.

Conestoga Valley Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to Jayden Johnson

Jayden Johnson's big game helped extend Conestoga Valley's winning streak to ten on Friday. Muhlenberg had no answer to Johnson as he picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown. Johnson got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 78 yards.

Unfortunately for Muhlenberg, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Johnson. Johnson rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Muhls duked it out back in October of 2023.
