Grant proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Guthrie Bluejays 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Guthrie, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant will host Santa Fe South at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Guthrie, they will challenge Northwest Classen at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guthrie's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
