Kountze has gone 8-2 against Warren recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Kountze's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Warren's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Kountze is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since March 14th on Friday. They fell just short of Anahuac by a score of 5-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Warren didn't have quite enough to beat Hardin on Friday and fell 5-4.

Warren saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Turner Dillard, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kountze's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Warren, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

Kountze was able to grind out a solid victory over Warren when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 8-4. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
