Basketball Recap: Plaquemine Comes Up Short

Plaquemine lost against White Castle last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Plaquemine Green Devils took a hard 58-39 fall against the White Castle Bulldogs. The Green Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plaquemine's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for White Castle, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9.

Plaquemine will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Donaldsonville at 5:30 p.m. As for White Castle, they will face off against Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White Castle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Assumption likes a good challenge.
