Clay-Chalkville has gone a perfect 4-0 against Huffman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cougars will host the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Clay-Chalkville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Clay-Chalkville managed to keep up with Pell City until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Huffman finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Mountain Brook. Huffman haven't had much luck with Mountain Brook recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Clay-Chalkville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Huffman, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1.

Clay-Chalkville came out on top in a nail-biter against Huffman when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
