Sam Patterson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Munson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Wilms, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Ocean Lakes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as First Colonial only posted a batting average of .043.

Tallwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Ocean Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
