Football Game Recap: Sweet Springs/Malta Bend vs. Wellington-Napoleon

After a disappointing eight points in their last matchup, Wellington-Napoleon made sure to put some points up on the board against Sweet Springs/Malta Bend on Friday. Wellington-Napoleon were able to grind out a solid win over Sweet Springs/Malta Bend, winning 40-26.

Wellington-Napoleon's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 24 first-half points. Sweet Springs/Malta Bend countered with 12 points, leaving the score at 24-12 going into the half. The offense for Wellington-Napoleon continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 16 points to put the game away.

The victory bumped Wellington-Napoleon's record up to 6-3. The loss dropped Sweet Springs/Malta Bend's record to 4-5.
