Baseball Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

Exeter suffered their closest loss since April 2nd on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Reedley Pirates by a score of 3-1. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Exeter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beckett Beyer, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Reedley, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

While Exeter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
