Baseball Recap: Coast Union Takes a Loss

If Coast Union was feeling good fresh off their 10-3 takedown of San Luis Obispo Classical Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos came up short against the Valley Christian Academy Lions on Tuesday, falling 12-1. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Coast Union's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Valley Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coast Union will host Dunn at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Earwigs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Valley Christian Academy, they will welcome Coastal Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
