Baseball Recap: St. Bernard's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

St. Bernard can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers.

St. Bernard let Desmond Powers and Johnny Lazarou run wild. Powers went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Lazarou went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. St. Bernard is 3-1 when Powers posts three or more hits, but 3-15 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Muscarella, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

St. Bernard's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Windham RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Looking ahead, St. Bernard will head out to face off against Griswold at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Windham RVT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
