Volleyball Recap: Harleton Gets the Win

Harleton lost to Word of God Academy back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Force by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Harleton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-9, 25-22.

Harleton's win bumped their record up to 6-22. As for Word of God Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Harleton will venture away from home to face off against Trinity School of Texas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Word of God Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Shreveport HomeSchool Sports will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
