Jurupa Hills won the last time they faced Arroyo Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks.

While Jurupa Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-7.

Whitney Smith paced Jurupa Hills' offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Sariah Jordan and her 22 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Jurupa Hills back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Jurupa Hills will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Adelanto at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arroyo Valley, they will face off against Cathedral City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
