Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Calvary Baptist Academy was the 2-0 winner over McGehee when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Calvary Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for McGehee, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Calvary Baptist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Scotlandville on the 27th. As for McGehee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Slidell on the 27th.
