Berkeley Prep won against Tampa Catholic  last Friday with 19  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. The Buccaneers beat the Plant Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  19-7. Winning may never get old, but the Buccaneers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
The critical scores for Berkeley Prep came from  Matt White and  Dylan Henderson.
 One reason for the win was Berkeley Prep's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks.  Michael Mariani refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5  sacks all by himself.
Berkeley Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Plant, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkeley Prep will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Alonso at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st. As for Plant, they will take on Sickles at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
