Basketball Game Preview: Rensselaer Rams vs. Cairo-Durham Mustangs

The Rensselaer Rams will venture away from home to take on the Cairo-Durham Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Rensselaer lost to Taconic Hills on the road by a 63-48 margin. The Rams have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Cairo-Durham was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-52 to Chatham.

Cairo-Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rensselaer, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rensselaer couldn't quite finish off Cairo-Durham in their previous matchup back in February and fell 48-45. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
