Volleyball Game Preview: Linfield Christian Lions vs. Ontario Christian Knights

Linfield Christian is 1-9 against Ontario Christian since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Linfield Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Linfield Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Arrowhead Christian, taking the game 3-1.

Linfield Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 29-27, 22-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Ontario Christian got the win against Aquinas last Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Ontario Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-22.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-8. As for Linfield Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Linfield Christian beat Ontario Christian 3-1 in their previous meeting on September 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
