Soccer Recap: Waynesboro Has No Trouble Against James River

The Waynesboro Little Giants made easy work of the James River Knights on Friday and carried off an 8-1 win.

Waynesboro's offense was hitting James River from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. A'Luscio Casas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Waynesboro now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for James River, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Waynesboro didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Monticello on the 25th. As for James River, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alleghany at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
