Volleyball Game Preview: Larchmont Charter Timberwolves vs. New West Charter Eagles

The Larchmont Charter Timberwolves will head out on the road to square off against the New West Charter Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Larchmont Charter took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Stella High Charter Academy as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Timberwolves haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Larchmont Charter's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Meanwhile, New West Charter got the win against Horace Mann UCLA Community on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: New West Charter took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5, 25-11.

Larchmont Charter's win bumped their record up to 25-11. As for New West Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Larchmont Charter took their win against New West Charter in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
