Basketball Recap: Leonia Comes Up Short

Leonia was the 65-56 winner over Bogota when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Leonia Lions fell 69-57 to the Bogota Buccaneers on Saturday.

Leonia's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bogota, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leonia and Hawthorne will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bogota, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against DePaul Catholic at 11:20 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
