Soccer Recap: Westlake Victorious

Westlake kept a clean sheet against Beaumont United on Saturday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Beaumont United Timberwolves. Considering the Chaparrals' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Beaumont United from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Simon Katz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Westlake's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Beaumont United, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Westlake will host Eastlake at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beaumont United, they will be taking part in a tournament against Klein at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
