Softball Recap: Jefferson County Plays to a Tie

Jefferson County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They and the Cocke County Fighting Cocks finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw.

Olivia Mottern spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
