Soccer Game Preview: Hayden vs. St. James Academy

Hayden hasn't had much luck against St. James Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hayden is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Junction City/St. Xavier an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The win continues a trend for Hayden in their matchups with Junction City/St. Xavier: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, St. James Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Bishop Miege. That's two games straight that St. James Academy have won by exactly two goals.

Kambree Duker and Alexa Aylward scored both of St. James Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for St. James Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
