Basketball Game Preview: Conway Tigers vs. Socastee Braves

Conway hasn't had much luck against Socastee recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Conway Tigers will challenge the Socastee Braves at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Conway will bounce into Friday's game after beating St. James, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Conway came out on top against St. James by a score of 27-19 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Socastee had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 41-28 win over Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.

Conway's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-15. As for Socastee, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Conway came up short against Socastee when the teams last played back in January, falling 49-43. Can Conway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
