Volleyball Game Preview: Clarksville Generals vs. Eastern Musketeers

Clarksville hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Generals will challenge the Musketeers at 6:00 p.m.

Clarksville's tournament run continued when they took on New Washington on Saturday. The Generals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Eastern entered their tilt with West Washington on Thursday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Senators with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eastern took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 26-5. As for Clarksville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-25.

Clarksville might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Eastern when the teams last played back in August. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
