Basketball Recap: Bruce Comes Up Short

Bruce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the New Auburn Trojans. Even if the Red Raiders couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Bruce's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for New Auburn, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bruce will face off against Flambeau at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for New Auburn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornell at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. New Auburn is facing Cornell at the right time seeing as Cornell is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
