The Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets will head out on the road to face off against the Norwell Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran fell victim to Fort Wayne Snider and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 16-0 to the Panthers. The Cadets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Norwell has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Guerin Catholic, sneaking past 12-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The team relied heavily on Drew Graft, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Randol, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Norwell's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
