Baseball Game Preview: Danville Hawks vs. Sheffield Bulldogs

The Danville Hawks will square off against the Sheffield Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Danville and three for Sheffield.

Danville lost 15-2 to Good Hope on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Sheffield came up short against Colbert Heights on Thursday, falling 14-3.

Skyler Johnston made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. JonWill Hufstedler also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
