Volleyball Game Preview: Sherman Oaks CES Knights vs. Marshall Barristers

The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will square off against the Marshall Barristers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sherman Oaks CES is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Reseda by a score of 3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Regents recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Marshall hadn't done well against Sylmar recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Barristers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans.

Sherman Oaks CES' record is now 19-4. As for Marshall, their record now sits at 15-6.

Sherman Oaks CES came up short against Marshall in their previous matchup back in September of 2018, falling 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
