Baseball Game Preview: Cocoa Tigers vs. Oak Ridge Pioneers

The Cocoa Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Oak Ridge Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cocoa is looking for their season's first victory.

Friday just wasn't the day for Cocoa's offense. They lost 15-0 to Palm Bay on Friday.

Cocoa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayden Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge came up short against Davenport on Friday, falling 13-2. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cocoa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Oak Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Cocoa might still be hurting after the 19-4 defeat they got from Oak Ridge in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
