It's playoff time, and St. Michaels had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers with a sharp 18-1 win on Friday. Considering the Saints have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Michaels got a massive performance out of Blake Wheatley, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Connor Wheeler was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

St. Michaels always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North only posted an OBP of .267.

St. Michaels has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
