Soccer Recap: Surrattsville Takes a Loss

Surrattsville fought the good fight in their overtime match against Potomac on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1. Surrattsville haven't had much luck with Potomac recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Surrattsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Potomac, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-2.

Coming up, Surrattsville will square off against Gwynn Park at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Gwynn Park will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Potomac, they will challenge International High School at Langley Park at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
