Baseball Recap: Capistrano Valley Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Capistrano Valley's offense. They came up short against the Trabuco Hills Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Capistrano Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14-1. As for Trabuco Hills, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-7-1.

While Capistrano Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
