Basketball Recap: Fleetwood Takes a Loss

Fleetwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 58-43 bruising from the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes.

Despite the loss, Fleetwood still got an impressive performance from Mason Senna, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Ryan, who posted 11 points.

Schuylkill Haven found their leader in sophomore Alan Evans, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 34 points and six rebounds. The contest was Evans' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brady Kelly, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Fleetwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Schuylkill Haven, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fleetwood will host Brandywine Heights Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schuylkill Haven, they will square off against Nativity BVM at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Nativity BVM's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches.
