Basketball Game Preview: Ouachita Parish Lions vs. Carroll Bulldogs

The Ouachita Parish Lions will face off against the Carroll Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ouachita Parish duked it out with Sterlington on Tuesday. The Lions took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Carroll escaped with a win on Tuesday against Union Parish by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Farmers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ouachita Parish was able to grind out a solid win over Carroll in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 70-59. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
