Volleyball Recap: Pekin's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Pekin came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Olympia Spartans by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

When it comes to explaining why Olympia lost, don't look at Kinley Steinkamp. Despite the final result, she had 11 assists and four digs.

Pekin's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Olympia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pekin and Olympia will both be playing Moline the next time they take the court. The Dragons will host the Maroons at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
