Basketball Recap: Bladensburg Comes Up Short

Bladensburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 63-53 to the Suitland Rams. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Rams are ranked 100th).

Bladensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Suitland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Bladensburg has already played their next matchup (against Northwestern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Suitland has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Bowie.
