Central's and Thibodaux's game on Friday was close at halftime, but Central turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Everything went the Central Wildcats' way against the Thibodaux Tigers as the Central Wildcats made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Thibodaux with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grady Hoffman (2), Geovanny Flores, and Pedro Sousa.

Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five matches. As for Thibodaux, they now have a losing record at 3-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Port Allen in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Thibodaux and Thomas Jefferson will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
