There's no place like home for Gridley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Corning Cardinals 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-13.

Iris Counihan paced Gridley's offense, picking up 18 kills. Counihan got some help from Isabel Santillan and her 31 assists. Madison Carey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Gridley's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Corning, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gridley is set to challenge their familiar foe Oroville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Corning will square off against rival Las Plumas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
