Football Recap: Seton Hall Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Seton Hall Prep was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a blow against the Bergen Catholic Crusaders, falling 40-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Jaylin Bullock threw for 31 yards on three of 12 attempts. Aiden Lockett was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Leonard West rushed for 30 yards.

Bergen Catholic found their leader in sophomore Trey Tagliaferri, who threw for 238 yards and four TDs while completing 82.6% of his passes. Tagliaferri's passing game has become a key predictor of the Crusaders' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Porter, who gained 75 total yards and two touchdowns.

Seton Hall Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bergen Catholic, their record is now 7-2.

As of now, neither Seton Hall Prep nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
