Volleyball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Coronado Islanders

The Fallbrook Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Coronado Islanders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fallbrook had taken San Pasqual down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Coronado had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Storm as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Fallbrook's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-13. As for Coronado, their win bumped their record up to 22-11.

Fallbrook couldn't quite get it done against Coronado when the teams last played on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
