Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Red Jackets vs. Manchester Blue Devils

The Jordan Red Jackets will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Manchester Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Jordan had to suffer through a 80-31 loss at the hands of Kendrick. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Jackets in their matchups with the Cherokees: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Manchester narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Mitchell County 59-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Manchester's win came from a few key players Jordan will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trey Jones, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. Jaedyn Terry was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Jordan was taken down by Manchester 97-54 in their previous matchup back in December of 2021. Can Jordan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
