Football Recap: Loganville Red Devils vs. Jackson County Panthers

Loganville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Jackson County Panthers 31-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Brody Hannah punched in two rushing scores. Tyler Breedlove was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Zach Hill rushed for 40 yards.

Jackson County found their leader in sophomore Daylan Maxwell, who rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Maxwell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. Caden Daniels was another key player, picking up 138 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Loganville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jackson County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Loganville has already played their next contest, a 30-7 win against Alcovy on the 1st. As for Jackson County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 34-21 victory against Habersham Central on the 1st.
