Volleyball Game Preview: Hanover Central Wildcats vs. NorthWood Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Hanover Central Wildcats and the NorthWood Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hanover Central will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Hanover Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Illiana Christian, sneaking past 3-2.

Riley Tormey was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and one assist. Mia Roux also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Meanwhile, NorthWood was able to grind out a solid win over West Noble on Saturday, taking the game 3-1.

NorthWood found their leader in sophomore Nola Nephew, who had 17 digs.

NorthWood was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Hanover Central's record now sits at 25-4. As for NorthWood, their record is now 19-14.
