Volleyball Recap: Christ Covenant Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Bern Christian Academy, Christ Covenant was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Northeast Academy Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Christ Covenant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Christ Covenant's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Northeast Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Christ Covenant has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 26th. As for Northeast Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Halifax Academy on the 26th.
