Liberty Charter waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the High Tech Mesa Thunder with a sharp 12-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Liberty Charter got a massive performance out of Logan Hays, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Hays a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drake Keehl, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Liberty Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.

Liberty Charter pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for High Tech Mesa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
