After losing to Manhattan the last time they met, Hayden decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hayden Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Manhattan Indians on Tuesday, sneaking past 54-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Hayden's record now sits at 10-7. As for Manhattan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Hayden and Manhattan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Hayden will challenge Washburn Rural at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 62 places (82 vs. 20). Meanwhile, Manhattan (ranked 128th) will meet Junction City (ranked 42nd) on Friday.
